Peonies plants make excellent investments. Each plant has a productive life of 10 years. On average the original plant (called rootstock) wonce planted will produce 8 blossums from the third year of planting. This makes them great investments, particularly in these times of low interest rates. Investors recieve their dividends every year following the harvest (end of June). Just in time for the summer holidays !
